Evaluation Of The 2021 Work Program And Planning Of The 2022 Airlangga Inclusive Learning Team Work Program

Airlangga University, as one of the leading universities in Indonesia, welcomes the policies outlined in Indonesia's legal framework by issuing policies to support the development of inclusive education at Airlangga University. In line with Permenristekdikti Number 46 of 2017, Airlangga University provides equal opportunities for prospective MBK students to participate in the new student admission selection process. Airlangga University also strives to facilitate learning and assessment in accordance with the needs of MBK students without compromising the quality of learning outcomes. The management of inclusive education at Airlangga University is carried out under the coordination of the Airlangga University Education Directorate. In 2018, Airlangga Inclusive Learning (AIL) was established to serve as the Disability Services Unit at Airlangga University. Airlangga University is also gradually improving its facilities and infrastructure to support the learning of students with special needs. Before Airlangga Inclusion Learning (AIL) began its activities, almost all facilities were not yet accessible to individuals with special needs. Gradually, awareness of the importance of accessible facilities began to grow across various faculties, so that today more and more faculties are considering accessibility for academic staff with special needs. The 2021 work program is running according to plan, including completing the drafting of Guidelines for Inclusive Education Services at Airlangga University. AIL has also developed partnerships with various work units within Airlangga University, such as the Library, to develop inclusive education services. At this stage, inclusive education services are being developed not only for MBK, but also for all members of the academic community with special needs within Airlangga University.

 

The EVALUATION OF THE 2021 WORK PROGRAM AND PLANNING OF THE 2022 AIRLANGGA INCLUSIVE LEARNING TEAM WORK PROGRAM event was held at the HARRIS Hotel & Conventions Surabaya on Thursday – Friday (December 2–3, 2021), was successfully held in a meaningful and engaging manner. The event aimed to evaluate the work program implemented in 2021 in relation to the performance achievements of Airlangga Inclusive Learning, finalize the drafting of the Inclusive Education Service Guidelines, and develop the 2022 Work Program. The event began with the Opening and Guidance from the Director of Education at Airlangga University, represented by Dr. Fitri Mutia A.KS., M.Si. The first presentation on the topic of “Inclusive Education Management at Surabaya State University” was given by Prof. Dr. Budiyanto, M.Pd, moderated by Dr. Nono Hery Yoenanto, S.Psi., M.Pd., Psychologist, followed by a presentation on inclusive services at Brawijaya University by Ziadatul Hikmiah, S.Pd., S.Psi., M.Sc., moderated by Pramesti P. Paramita, M.Ed.Psych, Ph.D. The Inclusion Team Committee not only invited speakers but also MBK students from various faculties at Airlangga University.

Other agendas included the Airlangga University Inclusive Socialization Report: Inclusion Day Pramesti P. Paramita, M.Ed.Psych, Ph.D, moderated by Dr. Hanik Endang Nihayati S.Kep.Ns., M.Kep., the MBK Assistance Report by Dr. Lilla Musyahda M.Pd., and the AIL Website Redesign Report by Rozi, S.Pi., M.Biotech. The event concluded with a question and answer session and a group photo session.
