AIL UNAIR Complaint Service
Bullying or violence against members of the academic community with special needs and/or other sensitive issues can cause stress and crisis for members of the academic community with special needs. AIL, in coordination with the Airlangga University Help Center, provides advocacy services for academic community members with special needs during times of crisis. The Help Center, which consists of lecturers from Airlangga University, will act as listeners and companions for students in need. If necessary, students can also access counseling services.
Meanwhile, in crisis situations caused by various factors beyond the control of Airlangga University, such as pandemics, social and economic issues, which hinder the continuity of the teaching and learning process and the functions of AIL, AIL will provide physical security and guarantee the status of Students with Special Needs as students of Airlangga University, as stipulated in university regulations. The clause regarding the guarantee of physical safety and student status for Students with Special Needs includes returning students to the custody of their parents/guardians/designated parties if deemed necessary and urgent in an emergency (state of emergency).
