AIL Volunteers' Enthusiasm for Learning Sign Language

In order to improve the implementation of inclusive education at Airlangga University, the Directorate of Education, through one of its units, Airlangga Inclusive Learning (AIL), held a training session for volunteers who assist students with special needs (MBK). The training was held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Sriwijaya Hall, ASEEC Tower Building, Campus B, Airlangga University.

Narayana Room: The Implementation of Inclusive Education Through Airlangga University Library Services

AIL News - In order to support Airlangga University in being friendly and welcoming to students with special needs (disabilities), the Unair library provides the same facilities in the form of a special room. This room is known as “Narayana” and is located on the 1st floor of the Campus B Library, Airlangga University.

AIL NEWS, On Saturday, September 16, 2023, Airlangga Inclusive Learning (AIL) held the 2023 Training for Volunteers Assisting Students with Special Needs at the ASEEC Tower, Airlangga University Campus B. This volunteer training was held as part of the development of inclusive education facilitated by the Directorate of Education at Airlangga University. 

Visually Impaired Students Graduate from Airlangga University

The student who completed her bachelor's degree at Airlangga University is named Huriyah Dhawy Febrianti (often called Dhawy). Having a visual impairment did not prevent Dhawy from pursuing higher education, graduating, and becoming the pride of her family. As an alumnus of the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Airlangga University Surabaya, she successfully completed her education at Airlangga University (Unair) (2019-2023).

Discussion between Airlangga University (UNAIR) and the National Commission on Disability (KND)

AIL NEWS – The hearing between Airlangga University (Unair) and the National Commission on Disability (KND) took place on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time in the Balairua Room on the 4th floor of Unair. Unair was represented by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni (AMA), Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, Drh., DEA, who warmly welcomed the KND team to Unair.
