AIL NEWS, On Saturday, September 16, 2023, Airlangga Inclusive Learning (AIL) held the 2023 Training for Volunteers Assisting Students with Special Needs at the ASEEC Tower, Airlangga University Campus B. This volunteer training was held as part of the development of inclusive education facilitated by the Directorate of Education at Airlangga University.
Airlangga University, as one of the leading universities in Indonesia, welcomes the policies outlined in Indonesia's legal framework by issuing policies to support the development of inclusive education at Airlangga University. In line with Permenristekdikti Number 46 of 2017, Airlangga University provides equal opportunities for prospective MBK students to participate in the new student admission selection process. Airlangga University also strives to facilitate learning and assessment in accordance with the needs of MBK students without compromising the quality of learning outcomes.
UNAIR NEWS – Airlangga University is open to accepting students from various backgrounds, including students with special needs, commonly referred to as inclusion. This time, for the first time, on the initiative of the Education Directorate Development team and the inclusion team, UNAIR held a training session for students with special needs. This training involved lecturers from the Faculty of Psychology and the Faculty of Science and Technology, as well as alumni with special needs and volunteers.
UNAIR NEWS – Directorate of Education Universitas Airlangga hosted seminar entitled “Pengembangan Pendidikan Inklusi Menuju UNAIR Kampus Humanis,”/(“Development of Inclusive Education to Make UNAIR as Humanist Campus) on Thrusday (14/9) at Amerta Hall UNAIR. It aims to develop inclusive education for students with disabilities The speakers of the event were Prof. Dr. Frieda Maryam Mangunsom Siahaan, M.Ed., Psi from Universitas Indonesia, dan Ro’fah, Ph.D from Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga.
